Introducing our Minister

Our minister, Reverend Gneid Lackey, graduated from the Atlantic School of Theology in Halifax, NS. She calls her hometown, Canada, because (coming from a military family) she's moved around quite a bit in her 30+ years: including 5 yrs. in Lahr, Germany. Reverend Lackey is always open to questions and concerns: from questions about what the United Church of Canada is all about, to what we do as a community of faith here in our local churches. Our Worshipping Family
We're a family and that means we work together to do our best to put God first in our lives and make time for each other as a Christian family. But part of our faith is also being there for anyone who needs a hand. We do this by helping each other out, praying together, worshiping together, and working to stay on the path of God. We like to think that our compass is Jesus. We try every week to come together at least once for Sunday service to re-set our compass and make sure we're on the right track. However, being a church family isn't a Sunday-only thing (at least it doesn't have to be). We also try to be there to support one another in faith all week long.

 

No one is perfect and we don't try to be. We are dedicated to God and one another and we try our best to live by that.
